The rapidly changing and dynamic $32 million Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA is seeking a proven, self-motivated, mission-driven professional. The Bob Sierra Family YMCA gymnastics program offers toddler, preschool, progressive, pre-team and team classes for boys and girls, as well as a special needs program and a large summer camp program. The department generates in excess of $350,000 annually and is slated to more than double in size with the opening of a new 12,000 square foot facility with over 8,000 square feet of gymnastics space. The Program Director will oversee all gymnastics functions including staffing, programming and facility operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate skill in staff development, retention, fundraising and training, as well as program growth and development. The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA is committed to excellence in programs, facilities and relationships. | Qualifications: | Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and USAG Member or equivalent. Must have current knowledge of compulsory routines. Experience coaching and spotting optional level gymnasts preferred. Floor routine choreography experience is a plus. Excellent organization, member relations skills and communication skills are required. Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background investigation. |
